As a mixture of varied single crystal materials blended in a specific ratio, Liquid crystal requires absolute purity to operate stably and efficiently in a liquid crystal display.
During the filling process of liquid crystal, approximately 2 to 5% of it will be contaminated with ions, moisture, and particles. Although traditional purification technologies such as column purification and recrystallization can remove some contaminants, they will also change the formulation of the liquid crystal and make it nonreusable.
